Building a Diversity & Inclusion Leadership Certificate Program (RFP-IE-002)

The Division for Inclusive Excellence is seeking proposals that will contribute to our Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Certificate Program, to be administered through the division's new platform, IExcel Education.

We anticipate delivery of this certificate program will begin in fall 2020.

Application process

If you are interested in submitting a proposal, please review the full RFP found below.

Eligible applicants may then fill out an Intent to Submit form online to let us know your intent to submit. Faculty and staff must have their Intent to Submit form endorsed by their direct supervisor.

The deadline for all Intent to Submit forms is January 13 at 5 p.m. In the case of multiple proposal submissions, a separate declaration of intent for each is required.

General information session dates

General information sessions will be held at 817 S. Cathedral Pl, Wanda Mitchell Conference Room and Library or in IExcel @ Grace:

  • December 12, 4-5 p.m.
  • December 18, 4-5 p.m.
  • January 7, 3-4 p.m.
  • January 10, 12-1 p.m.

Prospective developers who complete the Intent to Submit form are strongly encouraged to attend a general information session and then schedule a consultation to discuss the development of their course proposal(s). Please contact Jan Altman at to set up a consultation.
