A Braver, Safer Space for Crucial Conversations

RAMmalogues is an ongoing IExcel program for VCU faculty, staff, and students that provides a braver/safer space for us to have the hard conversations about our social identities and lived experiences at VCU in everyday life as well as during periods of crisis.

Come talk with your peers about social identities in the context of acceptance, belonging and inclusion in life at VCU. Experience a respectful model for communication using conversation cafes to dialogue across difference.

Led by trained facilitators through VCU Inclusive Excellence, sessions focus on social identities (including gender, sexual orientation, age, class, intersectionality and more) and climate issues related to current events. For more information, or to request RAMmalogues for a group, contact Jan Altman at (804) 828-8947 or iexcel@vcu.edu.

At this time, all sessions are conducted remotely (via Zoom).
