Healing History: Memory, Legacy and Social Change International Conference

Dr. Horne is the author of more than 30 books and over 100 scholarly articles and reviews. His research addresses issues of racism in a variety of areas including labor, politics, civil rights, and international relations. This event is open to all. First Annual Diversity & Inclusion Symposium

Community: Exploring the power of coming together of workforce, employers, communities, our future

Virginia Commonwealth University and the Greater Richmond Society of Human Resource Management will host the first Diversity and Inclusion Symposium on Friday, Jun 26, 2015 at the University Student Commons, Commonwealth Ballroom. This day-long event brings together business, academic, and community leaders, and human resource and diversity and inclusion professionals. Keynote speakers are Dr. Freeman Hrabowski, President of the University of Maryland, and Vernice “FlyGirl” Armour, America’s first African American female combat pilot. Registration is required.
